1. I signed up and I did not get an email with my referral link. What should I do?
Spam filters are really aggressive nowadays and
destroy legitimate email. Plus your referral link was displayed on the
page right after signing up so check your web page history in your browser
to reload that page. If unsuccessful please send an email to

How can I be sure that people who receive my
referral link will be credited to me?
Cookies are used to track referrals through participants'
links.
Your referral link will set a cookie, which will insure
that each time they visit the Guitar Giveaway signup
page, you will be the referrer. Research indicates that
nearly 99% of internet users have cookies enabled on their browser.
The cookie will not expire, and thus with the person's revisit(s) to
the
signup page, you would still get credit.
3. How are referral entries calculated?
Your referrals (which are
worth 7 entries each) and
your referrals' referrals (which are worth 3 entries to you)
will be calculated manually at the end of the contest.
In the meantime, you may keep track of how many entries
you have received with simple math.
Multiply your personal referrals (level 1) by 7
and those that your referrals refer (level 2) by 3.
4. I tried to sign up more than once. It said "signups are only permitted once per hour"?
This is a security measure to prevent people from
signing up multiple times, which is against contest rules.
Anyone purposefully trying to enter themselves more than once
will be disqualified and lose all entries.
5. My friend
says they signed up but it seems like it did not register in my

Others may actually enter the newsletter list on the home page without actually going to the guitar giveaway entry form. Make sure to tell them to actually use the right entry form and not just the newsletter form.
